A Celebration of Brooklyn Bridge Park with Landscape Architect Michael Van Valkenburgh!

Join us for a public celebration of Brooklyn Bridge Park – both the place and the new book by Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates (MVVA), the landscape architects who led the two-decade transformation of the abandoned industrial waterfront into the award-winning, 85-acre public landscape that it is today. There will be copies of the book signed by Michael available for purchase thanks to Head Hi Bookshop, coffee, sandwiches, and treats from Fornino in Brooklyn, and guided tours led by the MVVA design team and the park horticulturalists who maintain this Brooklyn landmark.
