He has contributed so much to Harlem, he founded a movement in the ‘60s, two United States Presidents’ sons contacted him for his support; he was one of first black chefs on a major tv show, and Plĕas owned a private limousine service for the Apollo Theatre, he has done so much more for Harlem.

Make no mistake, he was an “unsung hero” not because he was seen in a photograph with these two great men but because of his enduring actions to stand up for Black people during the most challenging times in America.
