Free Canoe Rides with North Brooklyn Community Boathouse

NBCB’s Public Paddle Series enables public access to the waterways of NYC for the local community. Bring the family out free canoe rides in their 29-foot Langley canoes. Led by trained ACA trip leaders, participants will paddle down Newtown Creek and out toward the East River. There’s an opportunity to pause to take photos, and enjoy the views of Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. These trips run between 20-30 minutes throughout the day.

No registration is required, the event is first come, first serve. It is recommended to check the NBCB website and social media accounts in the morning in case of an inclement weather cancellation.
