LEGO® BOTANICAL GARDEN BLOOMS AT THE NEW YORK BOTANICAL GARDEN THIS SPRING

WHAT: To celebrate spring, the season of growth, New Yorkers are invited to explore an interactive LEGO® Botanical Garden Experience and connect with nature. The pop-up features a charming flower truck and themed gardens, including the Garden of Connection, the Garden of Knowledge, and the Garden of Reflection. Visitors will enjoy beautifully displayed LEGO Botanicals Collection sets and prompts to build their own LEGO blooms, with unique build opportunities each weekend. 

 

  • Mother’s Day Weekend: Celebrate relationships and bond over the joy of play and building together. 
  • May 17th Weekend: Embrace the season of reflection and renewal with friends and family and observe the live and brick-built flower displays while spring is in full bloom. 
  • Van Gogh’s Flowers Opening Weekend: Enjoy the new Van Gogh Flower Exhibit with a hands-on mini-Vincent van Gogh sunflower LEGO build, inspired by the LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers set and stay for New York Botanical Garden’s spectacular drone show! 

 

WHEN: The experience will be open to those with tickets to the NYBG from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on:  

  • May 10-11 
  • May 17-18 
  • May 23* NYBG Members Only   
  • May 24-25 

 

WHERE: New York Botanical Garden, 2900 Southern Blvd, Bronx, NY 10458   

  • Just 20 minutes from Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan! Take the Metro-North Harlem local line to Botanical Garden Station, located across the street from the Garden’s Mosholu Entrance.

Want more LEGO Botanicals? For the first time, the LEGO Group is activating at the Macy’s Flower Show from April 27 to May 18. Visitors can participate in a “Build to Bloom” event and shop the LEGO Botanicals collection on the Mezzanine level at Macy’s Herald Square.
