Luna Park in Coney Island Thunderbolt 10th Anniversary Coasterthon

Luna Park in Coney Island, New York City’s destination for amusement and thrills, is preparing to celebrate 10 years of the iconic Thunderbolt roller coaster with the Thunderbolt 10^th Anniversary Coasterthon. A group of non-profit organizations will ride all eight of Luna Park’s roller coasters, marathon-style, to raise funds and awareness for their respective missions. Consumers can get in on the action by signing up to join the team of a charity that resonates with them and have their rides counted toward that charity’s total rides. Consumers can sign up to participate in the Thunderbolt’s 10^th Anniversary Coasterthon from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Thunderbolt with a $20.00 donation to the charity of their choice. The event will begin at 11:00 AM, and the winners will be announced at 1:00 PM. There will be entertainment and other activities during the entire day with a special fireworks display to celebrate Thunderbolt’s 10th Anniversary at 9:15pm.
