MORE Opera’s Juneteenth Jubilee 2024

Celebrate Juneteenth in Spanish and English with musical fun for the whole family at a free outdoor concert presented by MORE Opera and Bronx Music Hall featuring Bronx area choristers.

The program includes an original dramatic narrative in Spanish and English explaining the importance of Juneteenth for all Americans and exploring its musical and cultural traditions.  Dr. Patricio Molina conducts MORE Opera soloists Cheryl Warfield, Emmanuel Cruz, and Rachel Silverstein and an intergenerational community chorus in this festive presentation featuring spirituals and opera excerpts.
