Poetry Open Mic Night with Suffolk Teen Poet Laureate Sarah Goodman (Grades 7 – 12)

Celebrate National Poetry Month by joining our Suffolk County Poet Laureate Sarah Goodman for a Poetry Open Mic Night designed specifically for teens! Participants may bring and read original poems. After each reading an opportunity will be given for others to provide at least one positive statement and at most one positive critique/recommendation, designed to help people build their confidence and evaluate their work for future writing. Snacks will be provided.
