Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at LEEP Dual Language Academy Charter School
Sunset Park’s beloved Spanish-English dual language charter school has expanded its K–5 campus, now welcoming 400 students for the 2025–26 school year. On October 8, 2025, at 5:30 PM, the school will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by guided tours of the new facility.
The renovated campus—formerly a Chase Bank—now features vibrant classrooms, a performing art multipurpose room, and a dedicated library to support bilingual learning. This $10M transformation fulfills LEEP’s “One Campus, One Vision” initiative, bringing the entire school community together under one roof.
The expansion also marks a milestone for the neighborhood, with LEEP becoming one of the largest employers on 5th Avenue.
